Because of our current Shelter-in-Place status, we are holding our SSC meetings via ZOOM. Each month the meeting invite will be posted here, our SSC website, along with the meeting agenda.
These meetings do have specific agendas and we will only be discussing the topics on the agenda.
Each SLZUSD school must have an elected School Site Council (SSC) to represent parents, students, community members, and school staff in the school governance process. The SSC has a number of important responsibilities, including:
- Reviewing and analyzing student achievement data Gathering community input
- Helping develop the Academic Plan and the budget
- Monitoring the implementation of the plan & budget
