I am a second grade Spanish bilingual teacher at Hesperian. I enjoy working with students and helping learn to read in two languages. When I am not teaching, I am active with my family and all their hobbies: basketball tournaments, dance recitals, soccer games, and spin class at the gym.

College
I earned my bachelor’s degree at Saint Mary’s College with a major in Psychology and Spanish. I earned my teaching credential and reading specialist certificate from Saint Mary’s College as well.

I take attendance using Aeries. You can stay on top of attendance through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App
Report Cards
I use Aeries to generate report cards. Families can view report cards through the Aeries Family Portal.
Google Apps
I love using Google Docs and Google Slides with my students. It’s a great way to teach presentation skills, typing/technology skills, and publishing skills.

Other Tools I Use:
Students can access Dreambox (math practice), Raz-Kids (reading practice), and Typing Club at home. I also use the Remind App to communicate with parents via text message.
